simple viewer for CSV files CSVFileView is a simple, standalone program that lets you open and view Tab or Comma delimited text files (.csv,.txt) without the need for any Office program. You can view all lines, sort the them by column data, optionally hide some of the columns and also export the content to CSV file, tab-delimited file, XML file, or HTML report. Works like a charm. I first tried the free viewer from Microsoft, and it was awful. Stuff all out of whack and column titles stuck way off out of line. This one is great. Everything justifies in line and it's easy as heck to use. Also pretty tough to beat the price. show Review details

I use Fileamigo as a database. I export each file as a comma separated value file to use as a backup. I copy these files to another PC. I have CSVFileView loaded on the other PC (actually I have it loaded on all my PC's). I can then use CSVFileView to view each file. Thank you for this handy utility. show Review details

Mainly nice if as stated, you need to open CSV files and don't have an office software on hand. Basic options of sorting and export to html, nice little software. show Review details
