The program can record full motion video or a series of screen captures of the entire desktop or a selected area, and automatically generate a movie clip with moving cursors and popup hints. You can further customize the movie by adding annotations, highlights, text boxes, visual transformations, animation effects and more. Demo Builder even allows for full 3D rotation of your screen objects, complete with drop shadows and reflection effects, which allow you to create very professional looking presentations. The finished videos can be exported to Flash or video format and also directly uploaded to YouTube. Other features include auto-annotation, localization support, text-to-speech transformation, support for audio narration and background music, click zones, use of ActionScript3 for smooth animations, and more. As a product reviewer, I also use this product and it is a professionally crafted script. It is light on resources (use it on a P3), and has a great timeline and audio editor. I do have other professional screen recorders. DemoBuilder is the lightest on resources, does not use the DX driver (a plus) and can easily be embedded into a HTML page or Content Management scripts. $200.00 may seem steep for what seems to be a screen capture program on steroids, but I have been using this for a couple years now, and it is worth every penny. The developer is right on top of things, updates and major upgrades are seen quite often. Features being added that I never thought of but now can't do without. Small, streaming flash files when the project is exported.
