encrypt files and text messages Encrypt Care is an easy to use encryption software that allows you to encrypt or decrypt files or text snipptets in batch mode. It can also generate, verify and export file checksums. To encrypt one or more files, simply add them to the list, set a password and click a button to encrypt the files. The encrypted files will be saved to a new folder of your choice, leaving the originals unaltered. Encrypt Care creates encrypted copies with the same file name and extension, which may be useful if you want to conceal the fact that the files have been encrypted, however it requires you to remember which file have been encrypted. If you try to open an encrypted file, you will not be prompted for a password, instead the file appear to be corrupt and cause an error message. In addition to files, the program can also encrypt text snippets that you type or paste into the dialog windows. You can then copy the encrypted version of the text and paste it into a message or document. Encrypt Care supports AES, Blowfish, CAST, DES, IDEA, RC2, RC4 and TEA encryption algorithms.
