paint with flame brushes Flame Painter is a unique paint program that lets you create original artworks, using flame brushes rather than traditional drawing tools. The initial brush settings resemble flames on dark canvas but you can change the colors and brush settings to achieve all sorts of other effects. FlamePainter is not limited to flames, it includes a variety of brush styles (Rainbow, Lens Flare, Fireworks etc.) that allow you to create unconventional backgrounds, photo effects and other artistic designs. With some patience and creativity, Flame Painter allows you to create unique artworks that are hard to produce with other tools. The finished image can be saved or exported to PNG, TGA, TIF, BMP and JPG files. An additional Pro version with additional features is also available. I'm just getting started with Flame Painter 3 Pro and it can produce some beautiful light ribbons but I have only begun to explore. I have been looking for something like this for artwork and finally found it. Copy&paste function is great for quick work with external software such as Gimp. Plug-in saves your time while working with Photoshop. I am thrilled to explore new features of this application. However, price of Pro version was a bit above my budget but I must say that I don't regret buying this at all. show Review details

I like art programs and have a bunch in my collection, but nothing like this unique program. While there are no tutorials that I can find, the program is easy to learn as you explore the various options and experiment. I would encourage the new user to go to the web site (the Help file) and look at what other users have done for your inspiration. show Review details

I've used FP for years and now this new version is just amazing and the interface of the newer version just raises it another notch. Buy it that's my advice. The default flame is probably the worst of all of them but the some of the others are out of this world. show Review details
