perform automatic actions on new files Folder Actions enables you to automatically perform certain actions if files are added to a specified folder. The available actions include: New file alert, copy/move file, rename file, convert image, convert audio, convert video, compress/decompress file and an option to perform a custom action via .bat command execution. You can configure multiple folders and each can have its own folder action assigned. Unfortunately the program only supports a single action for each folder, which means you cannot combine any of the available actions, nor can you apply them in sequence. Does not work here on xpsp3

XPSP3. Folder Actions runs OK, but if you try to add a folder, no dice. The button hint balloon pops up but clicking has no effect. The file menu is also greyed out. Therefore no use at all, sorry.
