After you set your master password, simply select the folder(s) that you want to protect and click a button to lock it. The folder will still be visible but has a lock icon and cannot be opened from Windows Explorer until you unlock it from the Folder Spark application. In addition to locking folders, the program can also encrypt and password protect selected files. Unlike the "Lock Folder" feature, which uses the master password, you can specify an individual password for each file you encrypt, and optionally share it with others by email (the email sharing feature requires free registration).
