data recovery tool GetDataBack for NTFS is a data recovery software for NTFS file systems, which will help you to get your data back, even if your drive`s partition table, boot record, NTFS, root directory is corrupt or lost or when a virus has hit the drive, files were deleted, the drive was formatted or struck by a power failure etc. GetDataBack can even recover your data when the drive is no longer recognized by the operating system or all directory information is lost. The program uses advanced algorithms to make sure that all directories and sub directories are put together as they were, and that long file names are reconstructed correctly. GetDataBack also allows you to create a disk image of the drive that you want to recover from, which you can then use to recover the files without impacting your recovery chances. I`ve had a serious problem when changing the size of some partitions. One of them - with all my personal data on it - couldn't be restored afterwards. GetDataBack for NTFS helped me a lot. It was the only program I've tested that was able to restore not only the content of all files, but the correct filenames as well. Within one hour it scanned the whole hard drive of 120 GB for all its structure, data and lost files. As result it showed me a 'tree' of all the lost data, like in the Windows Explorer. Everything has been there, nothing has been missing. I was prompted to mark all the data I wished to save and make the program copy it to a 'healthy' partition. Thanks to GetDataBack for NTFS I've got all my lost data back, with no single error! This program is incredibly efficient and stable. It allows you to recover data after the hard disk has been damaged or formated. All you have to do is let it guide you through the different steps of the recovery. It couldn't be simpler, even beginners can do it. I used it and I was able to recover absolutely everything. Make sure you have another hard disk drive so you can copy the recovered files. I tried about a half dozen programs, none of which could recover files from my 160 GB drive. Even though GetDataBack saw the drive as about 31.5 GB, it showed about 101 GB of data to recover. Make sure you look at all the info on the screens. It does look like some of the files may be corrupt, but the lowest price I was quoted for professional data recovery was $995. $79 is quite a bargain! show Review details
