Nice tester 4 stars by gimpguy Jul 24, 2012 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
HD Speed is a great tester for read and write speeds, works on all drives it seems and easily finds usb. You can save the test file, etc... and while it seems like a basic tester, it's very thorough and does the job it was made for. I tested my 4 gig USB which when writing to, seems to slow down at certain points or even stall. This picked it up in the read-write and shows where the drops are and gives me a good indication that there are bad spots on this stick, time for a new one. They now added a box to type and verify before you write to a drive as it will erase data, this was an extremely good move on their part and I now give it 4 stars. show Review details
Nice and easy 5 stars by Philipgrey Aug 26, 2008 (Read all my 12 reviews)
Nice easy to use piece of software. Tells you most of what you need to know quickly. Make sure though, you take notice of the warning message before you press the button for the write test, as this is a destructive test. Works well and is stable. show Review details
Its the best 5 stars by bobalazs Jul 25, 2007
Its simple, and yet sophisticated. It does the job. No more menus and whatnot, just gets you straight to the fact-benchmarking your hard drive. My personal favorite show Review details
