create surreal looking images Hot Spot Studio is a unique program that lets you create surreal looking images by using a combination of colorful light effects. The software is surprisingly easy and fun to use, simply click with your right mouse button to add a spotlight and use your left mouse button to move it around. The lights can be of different intensity and size, allowing you to create unique shapes and effects. You can create your image with a solid background color or you can load a background image and overlay the light effects onto a photo (see our screenshots for an example). You can render your image at any time to see how your settings affect the outcome and once you're done, you can save your masterpiece as JPG image. Portable, no installation required. At first I didn't think I'd like this but it can create some really cool flare effects, never one the same. It's so easy to use and for those who want a larger image, what I did was create 3 black backgrounds, load them as images, then create the hot spots all over for a larger high quality render.
