reduce iTunes CPU usage iTunes CPU Redux is a small utility, designed to reduce the amount of resources iTunes uses on your PC. It monitors iTunes and its companion services (MobileDeviceService, MobileDeviceHelper, SyncHelper, Distnoted) running on your PC and automatically closes these services if they are no longer required. If you don't have your phone or other iOS device connected, these services are not needed and are wasting CPU resources.
