Open-source digital darkroom software LightZone is professional-level digital darkroom software, that includes RAW processing and editing. Rather than using layers in the way that other photo editors do, LightZone lets the user build up a stack of tools (styles) which can be rearranged, readjusted, turned off and on, and removed from the stack. LightZone is a non-destructive editor - any of the tools can be re-adjusted or modified later (even in a different editing session). A tool stack can even be copied to a batch of photos at one time. Once you load your JPEG or RAW image, you can choose from a variety of ready-to-use styles for Detail Enhancement, Effects, High Contrast, HDR, Looks and Toning. Each style can be customized to your preference, if needed, by simply adjusting sliders and selecting options. For RAW files, you can also adjust the original exposure settings.
