spam blocker software MailWasher Free is a spam detection and mail preview tool that allows you to check the mail on the server and delete any spam before you download it to your local computer. It can notify you when new mail arrives and automatically mark suspicious messages, so you can preview and delete them. There are 3 levels of spam detection and you can specify your own filters. MailWasher also offers the option to exclude your friends from spam checking and check mail against public blacklists (SpamCop). The program also includes a Bayesian engine that can learn from your decisions and improve the automatic spam detection over time. I've been using Mailwasher for years. I'm still using the old version. However, now the newer version is only good for 1 year and stops working after that. You have to pay each year to use it. When will these companies learn. show Review details

It is pretty good for a free version except for the nag screen and one email account. I have used the pro version for several years and loved it until they stopped the free lifetime upgrades last month. I will have to look elsewhere for a spam filter that keeps it promise of free lifetime upgrades. show Review details

The best program that I've come across for sieving through e-mails. The program is small,easy on system resources,fairly stable and easy to use once setup is completed. I find the best part of this program (that other free ones don't have) is its ability to bounce messages back to the sender or domain. show Review details
