optimized Firefox browser Pale Moon is a Firefox clone that has been optimized for for Windows Operating Systems with current, high performance processors. It looks identical to the standard Firefox browser and supports Firefox extensions, themes and identities. All your existing extensions, bookmarks and settings are imported during the installation, so, except for the logo, you won`t notice any difference in functionality. What you may notice however is a difference in speed due to the optimized code which will results in faster scripting and page rendering as well as (slightly) lower memory consumptions. Pale Moon is based on the Firefox source and offers the same levels of security. This browser is the worst: it hangs on rendering; does not play multimedia well--and has a terrible problem with java. I have really tried to like this browser and have installed and uninstalled it many, many times. Until they get the coding right--stay away! show Review details

I really liked Palemoon, but I had to uninstall. I went to LibreWolf. Palemoon would not load the login text frames for some important web sites I use on a regular basis. I could not log in; became too frustrating, so I just uninstalled. the support forum was no help. they mocked my inquiry and said my inquiry was not clear and helpful to them so they could assist me. Most web sites work real well, if you're just browsing. there are some very useful security extensions; themes are ok. But some log in pages I was unable to log in. I may try in the future; maybe in a year. show Review details

Tried Pale Moon and it worked fine, no problem there. What is quite disappointing is that it apparently does not allow for more proxies other than the one they recommend that does not appear to work correctly. In this time of greater cyber-threats thus, needing better security and privacy while browsing it is imperative to be able to have good VPNs and Proxies such as the ones that Firefox and other web browsers allow. What's the problem, Pale Moon? You need to allow for this. If you did I would return to use Pale Moon but will wait to see what happens. Hope you can fix this soon! Thanks. show Review details
