I was highly impressed by this. 5 stars by gimpguy Oct 02, 2008 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
As the poster below, I also work on computers and I had this annoying OpenOffice installer shortcut that kept appearing on my desktop. Not a real threat or anything, just annoying. Funny thing was, the installer was hidden, not nice from something you trust. I believe it was dropped by a Java install. Either way, it would not show anywhere, I unhid items, etc... but as stated, wasn't a real threat, just a pain so I just left it for now until I did my thorough cleaning which I do manually but takes a lot of time. Decrapifier just saved me some time by actually finding it, and getting rid of it! I was highly impressed by this. I can't recommend this enough and is an easy to use, awesome tool to get rid of , well... crap. Thanks! show Review details

This is sooooo cool! I work on computers as a side job, and when people come to me asking to help configure a new dell or something before they order, I always tell them that when it comes in the mail, don't even open the box, just bring it to me and let me take off all the crap. This app does exactly what I am thinking! HUGE Kudos to whoever wrote this one! show Review details
