It parses the content of the file, collects the index words and the pages where they are found and the generates an alphabetical index that allows the reader to easily locate keywords within the book. The program will automatically skip common verbs, pronouns, conjunctions and prepositions, and you can further customize the indexing progress by including or skipping specific words and limiting the pages to be indexed. I had to work with large pdf file (18000) pages. Unfortunately, for such large document index could not be generated. Still, I am 100 satisfied with Index Generator, as for other documents I got results I expected. I could not find better alternative, support is excellent and program was updated to work with accentuated characters quite promptly. show Review details
