block failed login attempts to Remote Desktop RdpGuard enables you to protect your Remote Desktop (RDP) connection from password-guessing brute-force attacks. It monitors the Windows EventLog for failed login attempts and if the number of failed logins from a single IP address reaches a set limit, the IP address will be blocked with a custom rule in the Windows Firewall. In addition to RDP, the program can also monitor FTP, SMTP, MySQL, MS-SQL and several other server logins.
