recover deleted files Recover My Files is a utility to recover deleted files, including documents, graphics, digital camera photographs, Zip files, email, music, video and more. It can recover files emptied from the Recycle Bin, from a formatted disk or lost due to a system crash or virus infection. The user friendly interface provides a simple 4 step wizard that lets you select the file types to scan for and the drive. Recover My Files then searches every sector of your hard drive to recognize deleted files by their internal format. The results show you the status (chance of recovery) for each file and it also provides a viewer that allows you to view the content of the file (text, image etc.). The evaluation version only displays the files found and estimates chances of recovery, but it does not allow to recover any files. Copyright

Trial Limitations: 30 day trial. Some features disabled.

It works great, but compared to other file recovery software I have tested, the price of this one is WAY out of line. show Review details
100% failure for FAT files 1 stars by TekinFamily Jan 01, 2007
Trial version appeared to recover files. Big downside was instead of the original tree directory, it produced a long list of renamed files bearing no resemblance to the original file names. This may be ok for small amount of data but makes it very difficult if you have a disk with lots of data. I was reluctantly willing to live with this if original photographs were recoverable. After making purchase for full version, I had to rescan the 60GB hard drive that contained a little over 55GB of data that took over twelve hour with almost a complete failure in recovering the data (jpeg, PDF, txt, html, doc,etc.). Thousands of files were listed as recovered but without original file name, I had to go through long list and click on individual files to preview. Files that had appeared intact in trial version were either missing or damaged. Purchase of recently released recovery program resulted in 100% recovery providing further evidence RMF fails miserably in recovering FAT files. show Review details
