automate cookie deletion in Firefox Self-Destructing Cookies is a Firefox add-on that makes it easy to protect your online privacy by automatically deleting the cookies from websites that you are done visiting. Normally, cookies are stored in your browser for a set period of time, which allows advertisers to track you across multiple sites or deliver customized advertising based on products you viewed earlier. With this add-on, you don't have to worry about sorting through your cookies, blocking them or deleting them all. Whenever you close a browser tab, the program will automatically delete all cookies that were set by the site. Since you may want to keep the cookies from some of your favorite sites in order to remember customized settings, Self-Destructing Cookies lets you create a White List of the sites that you want to exclude from cookie deletion. The add-on also adds a button to your Firefox toolbar that allows you to manually set rules for each site you visit. Copyright Snapfiles.com
