monitor running programs StartWatch is an application launcher that lets you launch a set of applications and then monitors them to take action if a program hangs, uses excess memory or CPU resources, or if a certain TCP/IP port becomes available. It can automatically start a list of applications in a coordinated manner, monitor them for potential problems and act according to your rules if a program crashes or uses excessive resources.
