Bit Torrent download client Tixati is an easy to use Torrent client that distinguishes itself from the competition with a no-nonsense interface, easily accessible options and several advanced features not commonly found. The program can set itself as the default handler for .torrent and magnet links and automatically take over whenever you download a torrent file. Tixati offers detailed bandwidth statistics and options to restrict incoming and outgoing bandwidth for all transfers or only selected files. Your current bandwidth usage is displayed in real-time graphs and allows for quick switching between bandwidth profiles. Other features include detailed peer and swarm information, peer connection encryption, local file management features, scheduled downloads, customizable event logging and more. Very good torrent client ! The only black point is the auto shutdown option under windows 8 if the pc is locked (win+L) the auto shutdown option will not work. so go back to utorrent 2.2.1 ! show Review details

Have also used other very popular programs before, but I like this one better. Gives you more info and visibility on what's happening in the background (e.g see your peers' whereabouts, downupload speeds, progress, etc), gives you also more control. I'm not a techie and don't understand most of the features +info provided in Tixati, but could figure it out easily. If you don't care about details, just let Tixati run by itself. However, fully agree with the post of "ianmacm", that the default color scheme is hard to see, so change it right away. Other than that, the program is perfect and works flawlessly. Has never frozen my PC, and I think even uses less resources than the former ones. Can only recommend it. show Review details
