file and folder search tool UltraSearch allows you to quickly search for files on NTSF drives by typing a portion of the name or using a wildcard "*" pattern. Unlike many other desktop search tools, UltraSearch does not use a previously built index file, instead it queries the Master File Table (MFT) in real-time, which allows for speedy results without the additional overhead of maintaining an index file. Wonderful search tool

JAM makes really good software, I own the TreeSize Pro. Only the Pro version will search Network Drives but back to UltraSearch. I like how it integrates into the Explorer shells' Right-click menu. It is there when you need it, its fast, small disk and memory foot print, and has an easy to use interface. It just very well thought out. The only limitation like most only look at local disks. I give it Two-Thumbs Up! Get it, use it, rate it!!!

Fast and portable

First of all, the portability of this is what's extremely useful to me. I have other search utilities that are very fast as well but not portable. Can't go wrong keeping this on hand.
