create virtual drives vSubst is a small tool that allows you to create drive-letters for any folder on your hard disk. For example , you can take folder X and make it behave as if it was Drive X. This can be very useful if you need to simulate certain environments or want to create a virtual CD drive. There are certain restrictions, you obviously cannot defrag or format the folder as if it were a real drive, but other than that, Windows thinks it acts like a real drive. This is the original that many for-pay programs have based their disk emulation off of when mounting ISOs and so forth. it still is a very relevant program all these years later in light of more complicated software that one might come across.

It is simple, small, and works great.. If you have folders to share as a drive this is the program to do it.
