copy websites to your local hard drive Cyotek WebCopy enables you to create a local copy of a full or partial website, so that you can browse it while you're offline. You can choose to download the entire site or set simply exclusion rules to skip or include content that matches a certain pattern. The program offers a variety of flexible settings that allow you to deal with query strings, domain aliases, forms and passwords, file extensions and other technical details that may need tweaking. Cyotek WebCopy works well for simple site structures, but if you need to customize the project settings, it can get a little complicated. Although a very extensive help file comes included, we still found it to be a little more difficult to use than other tools. The program also fails to detect the website default page, if it is anything other than "index.html" - while this can be tweaked in the settings, the information may not always be known to the user. Other features include website reports, site diagram, link export, support for Regular Expressions, and more. Copyright Snapfiles.com
