It offers a variety features for file and folder naming as well as image processing, designed to simply the workflow of importing and organizing your photos. You can create a simple profiles for importing photos to a specified folder, or advanced profiles that automatically rename, rotate, tag, group or otherwise process images while they are being imported. Other processing options include EXIF manipulations, automatic creation of HTML photo albums, embedding of GPS data, and more. WIA-Loader offers a wide range of features, not all of them are explained in details. Unfortunately, the included sample profiles are in German which does not help much. However, if you are willing to spent some time with the tool, you will find that it offers an extensive range of features that can significantly streamline the process of importing large numbers of photos.
