Have been using for the last 4 months and just updated to the newest version and this calender is perfect. You can change the color, size, week start day, transparency, past weeks to see and fonts. Set up is a cinch and really easy and simple. Just write down what ever you like in the day you want and that's it. If you're looking for a personal calender for your daily choirs and appointments this is what you need. Price.... absolutely FREE ..... enjoy ... show Review details
At first glance yikes! but..... 4 stars by gimpguy Aug 08, 2011 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
This actually ended up being something of interest. The interface is a bit tricky at times, or when you first begin but it easily becomes manageable. 1. Simply right click on the DesktopCal bar at the top, you get your options. 2. NOTE: (A correction to the Snapfiles review...) It does have resizing options. Perhaps it wasn't updated in the review. (Right Click on the DesktopCal button, choose "Open Administrative Tool", you get a box where you drag it around and re-size it, which re-sizes the calendar on the desktop. You can also choose box sizes and how many. 3. The wallpaper changer is good with this, seems to be a fitting addition. All in all, it's a very nice calendar for free. They do need to work on the cell edits, notifications would be nice, perhaps add some small icons or make your own icons to paste into a cell for special days,etc... Not too shabby. show Review details
