There are other programs like IDM that are good. However, I chose to buy IDM because it is a complete download manager, with several features, configuration options, an easy-to-understand interface, it works efficiently, the support works, and the price is fair. show Review details

IDM is perfectly programmed by their developers. It has attractive and easy to use interface. Features are awesome like resume, scheduler etc. IDM compatible to any browser with any file formate. it is an extraordinary tool :) show Review details

IDM integrates nicely on all 3 browsers I used and it can download FLVs. No configuration needed, just install and be done with it. I have tried a lot of download managers, until I used IDM I stopped looking anymore. Thanks. show Review details

I will give this software 5-star rating if it could integrate seamlessly with IE9. The integration with IE9 causes Tracking Protection List (TPL) to stop working. If you use an ad-block TPL to block ads, the integration will bring ads back to your IE9. If you disable the integration (or sometimes, you have to uninstall the integration by deleting the integration DLL file), TPL is working again. show Review details

I have been using this on a 30 day trial and have 8 days left. I am very satisfied with its overall performance, although it did go though a short spell of popping up as if to take up a download after completion of previous downloads when I wasn't requesting any new downloads at these times. Nevertheless, I might very well buy it and keep an installation copy on a re-write CD disk in case I ever have to reformat AGAIN. show Review details

Putting aside the great speed and ease it provide,i realize an even better feature it has. It is able to download from a lot of websites that claims that download manager are not supported!(It is true! When i used FDM and DE, both failed to download from those web,But IDM DID IT!) I needed a download manager that I could schedule downloads in the early hours. Tried about half a dozen and this was by far the best. Download speeds are just awesome. Simply the best download manager out there....u have to try it to know at what speed you can download with your existing connection....it downloads using 99.99% of your bandwidth... only prob i faced is when downloading,u cant select using how many parts the download is split into.this is annoying especially when downloading from certain sites...if u try connecting using multiple threads,they will kick you out..to overcome this u have to go to options and select 1 part only...then also its annoying because u cant select the number of parts for individual items when scheduling downloads!! show Review details
