A useful CD that boots using Linux. Contains mostly open source, free software utilities. These can be used to fix your hard drive and repair many system problems. This is especially useful when your system has been hosed. It supports most PCs. The utilities include diagnostics, hard drive repair, partition management and other tools. These can really save you from losing your PC to system problems. I think this package should be included in any repair kit. My only compliant would be that it does not come with a lot of documentation. However you can figure out most of the utilities yourself. show Review details

I was able to restore my hard drive's master boot log with this! Very cool CD. It has a ton of programs to choose from, for every drive manufacturer... Even had my Hitachi Disk management software! show Review details
