Does its job

It does what it says it will do, about 87 percent of the time. Not all computers are willing to give up their product IDs but it is not this programs fault. A big plus, works off a USB drive so you techies can have another tool for their trade.

Quick

Yep, it's quick and to the point, shows most Microsoft keys in a flash. I had a few issues with it though. One, when scanning all computers on the network, it should have an active CANCEL button, other than task manager, no way to stop it and the window becomes unusable. Also, it may need a password prompt to get through the router, not sure but it wouldn't detect the pcs on my network. Could be the other firewalls though. One more thing, I wish it could get the keys from ALL software so I could back them up. That would be the cat's behind. Otherwise it's a good tool to have.

Really gets the job done. I couldn't find my serial, and other sites asked me to buy their software...and this thing found my Office 07 key in a flash. Yes, this works for Office 07.

ProduKey is a nice little program that lets you grab your product ID and Windows Key to save and keep for your records. Like all Nir Soft programs it is small (no bloatware here) and does the job perfectly for the application it was designed for. Thank you Nir Soft.

The Product ID and Product Keycan be seen from the windows registry editor. It is a good thing that, ProduKey has tried to provide convenience. But instead, only if the user was also guided to check the product id and product key from the windows registry editor as well (just for confirmation), it would increase his experience level! I mean the software could have this feature of guiding the user to some extent. As for the rest, I do appreciate the efforts for creating convenience once again!
