Great tool, part of great package

This is an excellent tool. It improves on the built-in Registry Editor in just about every way possible (nothing can make the registry easy to work with or understand). It still works perfectly in Windows 10. Instead of downloading this, however, you should get the entire Nirsoft Utilities package, which has dozens of other handy, reliable, lightweight tools for viewing and managing all sorts of system data and activities, combined into a portable, easy-to-install and -use package which receives small improvements nearly every week.

Essential for registry tweaking

I've been using versions of RegScanner since my Win98 days. They've all been tiny and fast. To find all the occurrences of a particular string takes this program less time than RegEdit takes to find a single occurrence - or so it seems! It can take you direct to an occurrence's location in the registry tree - no need to work your way down a level at a time, as you'd have to in RegEdit.

This did a complete search and extremely fast too! I love the save to html and other options. I will be using this from now on instead of regedit.

This little guy works!

I was plagued with Picasa2 registry entries to the point where I was about to write zeros then I discovered this little guy. It is very easy to use and finds the entries so easily it makes it refreshing to work with the register. No guess work with this program. Two thumbs up for RegScanner. JMM
