Great and simple

While It's not a huge task for advanced users to forward ports on their router, this makes it much easier for others and quite honestly, it's faster than using my router interface so I use it too. It worked excellent with my D-Link, no issues. Why I really like this is due to the fact that my younger son has a hard time with ports and such and he understands this compared to the interface in the router, or he simply likes it better "not sure which" so when I tell him how to forward a port, he can actually use this when gaming. Excellent easy alternative to the router interface and easily accessible.

Great tool with unbeatable support

This tool really lives up to its name. Select your router from a list and the program does the rest to set up your port forwarding. The program also alerted me to the fact that my new modem was also a router - something I did not realize. This modem/router was interfering with port forwarding through my main router. It was not on Simple Port Forwarding's built in list, so I used the companion screen capture tool to send the info to Shane, the developer. He was quick to respond and, through a series of e-mails, patiently walked me through the steps necessary to configure my hardware. I am VERY impressed with the level of support Shane gave me!

Very clean interface. User-friendly. While my router wasn't listed, the publisher makes it extremely easy to send the required information to request that my particular model be added to the database. I received quick response (by a human) via email and my router will probably be added by tomorrow.
