I have been using this program for quite a long time. It's fairly small and does the job very well, far better than the windows time update. It can have five different time servers setup, demote any none responding servers, update at configurable intervals from seconds to days and sync your computer network. It does what it says, has plenty of options , tells you offset, ping time..... free. All our pc's are a minute or two different from each other, this has them all synced now. As to the other poster, eh... that's not just an old pc, your CMOS battery on your motherboard is probably bad, very common, set's clock way behind, buy one for a couple bucks, have someone who knows how to replace it for you throw it in, anyone with experience can change it in 2 min. show Review details

My computer (it's old) started acting its age and the clock slowed down, way down. I got an error trying to update the time with the Windows clock. It said it couldn't start the time service, although I could start it manually. There were no messages in the event log and Microsoft's "Fix it" didn't. I downloaded NetTime because it claimed to be exactly what I wanted. An easy, small, in the background time sync. And the promise is fulfilled. And it's free! I love it. show Review details
