Awesome utility

I use it a lot and makes browsing of disk files a breeze. I wish the UI provisioned opening file explorer, open file with OS associated application and copying of physical path to the clipboard.

There are only a couple of softwares that I consider excellent that do this and this one is definitely the top. Very easy ui, nothing to it, quickly creates the html even with large directories, has an excellent layout in the html which includes the linked files and also a handy search feature. Doesn't get much better than this.

It is a snap!!

Thank you RL and Snapfiles! Nothing short of "Wow", this thing is so easy to use, the output is amazingly clean, and sharp. I've tried numerous file listing tools, I'm trying to document and diagram all my files on MS Visio or FreePlane. So all the other applications I tried created txt, csv, xml, or xls file outputs. I have a mountain of files to catalog, 250+ GB and over 160,000 files, and of all the solutions I've tried this is the only one that did it without crashing out. It searched the drive, and created the output the 16MB output html file in less than 2 minutes. I did knock a point off, since there was no easily, obvious way to add additional properties (dates, metatags, file types, ect) to the output.

Extremely simple

Although extremely simple, Snap2HTML is a good tiny portable directory indexer- although it offers no options and no customization, it is fast and the output HTML files are very nice, providing a search box, a very handy feature.
