I have a few binders of DVD movies and wanted to add them to digital collection. VidCoder really helped out with that process. The program is simple with tons of video formats to choose from to create my library. I do like the preview feature which gives you an idea based on the setting you have chosen what the quality of the end result will look like. I can save my settings so the files are consistant for my TV and devices. It does take time to process the DVDs but that is not an issue due the slow readers.
Overall I give it two-thumbs up! BTW, I appreciate the portable version as well.

Eh, it's alright for ripping to the posted formats, however, it does tend to say there were errors quite often (non-protected disks) and is a bit slow at the couple I did rip.
If I use a DVD ripping software I use freebies that have most of what I need.
As stated by others, alright for converting but that's about it.

Satisfied although it could be better by budhi1976721

I am pretty satisfied with VidCoder. It does pretty much what it says. However, there are only 2 output conversion types which are MP4 and MKV if you're converting ISO file (DVD image).
It's recommended if you're looking for an ISO to MP4 conversion tool.
