Fotor comes off quite impressive for a young program. Photoshop Elements it is not, it is geared towards amateurs or the average user at home. It has a nice GUI and user-friendly. The one-button editing features are usually not so good, but with Fotor, it is surprisingly not bad. For more advance editing, you can manually adjust the pictures with some quality editing tools.
The controls are smooth and easy to use. The adjustments such as saturation and blur/sharp work well, but I feel the contrast function is a too strong and should have a broader range of adjustment. And there is no "levels" adjustment to tweak adjustments. I'm pressed with the crop options which many other editors lack. You can choose from manual cropping to several squared ratios. It supports the popular image formats and surprisingly, RAW.
It feels very light, starts up quickly and applies adjustments effortlessly. I'm running Win7 64-bit, 8gig ram with a quad CPU, so I don't know about computers which are weaker than this. It is available for all PC platforms including mobile phones, Iphone and Android, but not for Linux.
From my experience there were no batch processing, EXIF & other properties editing and portable version.
Overall it is great for simple and maybe some advance editing. With this program starting out like this, I'm eager to see how far it will develop.

First of all, lol, yep I was beaten to first rate on this one. I did actually find this really nice for quick but thorough enough photo editing if you need quick adjusts with the ability to add effects and frames. I agree that it doesn't have as many features as some, the ones many need are there and perhaps more.
The frames are great for that portrait look and the program's interface is smooth and easy to use so anyone can get the hand of it fast. I myself do like this and will keep it installed, it really is a great editor and the filters are not second rate, they do a decent job.
Great work and um... glad I tried it JamJar, lol.
