This is the best of all. Fast, small, easy, and stable. I use it almost everyday for capturing WEB pages.
I also recommend "Windows snapshot maker" too. It's useful when capturing an application's screenshots with several windows.

Very easy to use and stable.
I've tried some other software, but Wavepad is the best for me. Auto trim is useful and the performance is great, it works.
There are many other freeware too you can find on their Website.

One of the best photo editing software. You can do everything with GIMP. I think it's equivalent to other commercial products. (Since GIMP is free, it is much better)
It may be difficult for the new so I recommend you get a good tutorial book to get start.
If you only want to correct your images you took, then Photofiltre or Faststone image viewer would be much better for you, it's quick and easy.

It is stated as shareware here, but actually it can be used for free with some limitation such as non UDF support etc.
Well, but it will save you, it is really worth to pay, it is cheap. try it.

This adds harmful site's address to Internet browser's security options (IE, Firefox) and can block spyware before downloading it. You don't need to run SpywareBlaster all the time.
Anybody should have it.
