AutoVer AutoVer

Almost does it all. 4 stars
AutoVer almost does it all. It does an excellent job of backing up files automatically. I save the backups on a second hard drive which is routinely kept up to date by cloning the main hard drive. After this is done AutoVer will not backup until a backup folder is created. This is not a show stopper but it would be nice if AutoVer automatically created a backup folder if it does not exist. SyncBack Free SyncBack Free

Incremental backups 3 stars
The problem with SyncBack relative to other programs (e.g., FileHamster and Cobian) is the poor support for incremental backups. It requires that files be backed up as zip files and use of a crude script. If SyncBack provided built-in incremental support without zip format it would be an excellent program. For now, Good to Very Good but poor if want incremental backups. Price: Free
