real-time backup tool Yadis! Backup is an easy-to-use backup program that can perform automatic backups of your important files. The program will continuously monitor your selected folders and backup any files in real-time as soon as they are added or changed. You can also activate file versioning, which allows you to keep multiple version of your backup files as an additional safety measure. If your backup location is unavailable (e.g. a removable drive), the program will automatically create a backlog backup of the files as soon as your drive is reconnected. Other features include file filtering and backup health validation. Copyright Snapfiles.com

Great backup utility 5 stars by busybusy Feb 22, 2013 (Read all my 262 reviews)
Updated: Compared to most backups this one is my favorite. Mostly backups you have to wait for a specific time to backup your different files. Yardis, just backs up your files on a continuous basis. It has error checking for file issues to network drive connectivity problem. The icon changes in the task bar to show when there are issues. The files that are currently locked are backlogged to be processed when their are freed. Some draw backs it that it does not use Volume Shadow Copy or have additional features like before/after process actions. These would allow more control over locked files or the ability to shutdown/restart them so you can back them up. I still give it high marks for it active backup process. It gives you piece of mind to know that it is being done now instead of waiting for some timed function. This is a Great Backup Utility! Two-Thumbs Up!! show Review details
A bit slow and no support. 3 stars by rrvau1 Oct 17, 2011
It appears to use a lot of resources and causes excess heat buildup. I cannot get a reply from the developer, certainly no answers. I am trying XRBackup which seems quicker and it compresses thar archive. show Review details
