Have used this program extensively to transcode files for quite a few years now. Handles single files as well as batches of files quite well. Has multi threaded optimizations, so it takes advantage of multi core processors quite well. Highly recommended program. Price: Free

This is on my all-time favorite software list. Has a nice, uncluttered interface that takes only moments to get the hang of. Many editing tools are within a few clicks. Use this tool for retouching photos from my digital camera, does the trick for simple tasks. Of course, its not Photoshop, but handles simple image editing tasks very well. High marks for this program! Price: Free

Good uninstaller program with nice features 4 stars
Had used Your Uninstaller 2006 for a while until I stumbled upon this program. One of the stand out features using this program is it's ability to scan an uninstall routine before and after the regular uninstaller runs. That way, it can remove registry entries and leftover files and folders from uninstalling process. This is one program that is rapidly becoming one of my favorite utilities. Price: Free
