PicPick has all the features most people need instantly. Auto save all snaps. It is free and better than almost anything else.
I use this a lot and it is the easiest way to take screen shots there is. You can take screen shots and the magnify and so on immediately.
My thanks to the PicPick people.

I've tried several other virtual desktop programs but they messed up my desktop icons and changed the wallpaper and eventually were deleted, but WindowsPager is so simple, looks nice in the tray and best of all, it works without making changes to the desktop. It works perfect on my XP desktop and my EEEPC Win 7 laptop. The number of virtual desktops is easily configured and has a good help page.
My thanks to Jochen Baier for giving us this great free program!

I liked Zonealarm when it first came out, but now this version likes to run your computer for you and has much less user control over what comes and goes and seems a bit bloated. Too complicated and has to be 'watched'. I also note it did not 100 pass the 'stealth' tests I usually test firewalls with. There are other ones that are more basic.

I've been using Yankee Clipper for years on Win XP and it does it all. Text, pictures, rtf, and URL's! Hard to believe it's free.
