It allows you to create custom rules that let you define which folder your downloaded files are saved to. You can create filters based on the domain you are downloading from, the file name and file extension. If a file you are downloading matches one of your filters, Firefox will automatically save the file to the specified folder. ASF also supports dynamic folder creation, a powerful features that enables you to automatically create folders based on the date, domain, file name or extension. For example, you could automatically organize all your downloads into sub-folders named after the current month or day and even create additional sub-folders to organize the files by type. There are various other options to further customize the features. You may have to change some of your current Firefox settings to make ASF work properly, however a detailed "how to" page is provided after you install the program.
