secure password manager Buttercup is a secure password manager that enables you to store all your passwords and logins in a password protected database (AES 256bit). You can organize your passwords into custom groups and search for items by keyword if needed. Each entry card provides the standard username/password fields but you can easily add custom fields to accommodate other data (e.g. tokens, notes, PIN etc.). Buttercup comes with a built-in password generator to help you create secure passwords based on your preference. It can also warn you if your chosen password appears to be weak or insecure. The program can optionally import existing password data from Keypass (.kdbx) 1Password (.1pif), LastPass and NextCloud archives. Buttercup comes with an easy to use and attractive interface and the option for custom fields allows you to adapt it to your needs, but it lacks some of the advanced features you'll find in other password managers. Wouldn't import from dashlane or roboform 2 stars by henerey773 Mar 11, 2018 (Read all my 37 reviews)
I know, it didn't say it would but since it does do some other imports I gave it a try. No, it wouldn't import from Dashlane or RoboForm. I don't see any advantage to Buttercup either,so I don't want to start over with passwords. show Review details
