CD, DVD and media player/ripper CD-Runner is a CD, Multimedia, DVD Player and Ripper, that includes a 15 band spectrum analyzer and EQ, as well as several MP3 and Ogg utilities. The interface uses a home-stereo system faceplate or an alternate car stereo look instead. CD-Runner also converts WAV to MP3 and Ogg, creates MP3 ID3 (1/2) tags as well as Ogg tags. CD-Runner can automatically download track information from the internet, using the freedb online database. Awesome program, especially the CD Player, local freedb database support, and disc library. The latest changes add support for a bunch of new media file formats (APE, AC3, MP4, etc.) which can be handy if you've got your music in different formats. Playing everything from MP3 to AAC is really cool now that the spectrum analyzer and parametric equalizer work with all of these. Obviously I am a big fan of the program! Also, I totally agree with the previous review accept that the price has been lowered to $10 (US) new, $5 existing. It's nice that the developer keeps upgrading the software and actually returns your email when you ask questions - highly recommended!
