save Google maps as images Google Map Saver provides an easy way to view Google maps and save them as offline images to your computer. Simply enter the name of the location, select the desired map size and output format and click a button to save the map in PNG, JPG, BMP or TARGA format. The program initially adds a watermark to the saved map image, however, you can removed it by opening the "About" dialog. Once you open the dialog, it it will say "Thanks for registering" and there will be no more watermarks. Copyright Snapfiles.com

The program seems to load Google maps faster than Firefox. It also shows more map at once from what I can tell. Since it's a no-install program, it's nice in that regard. A keeper IMO. show Review details
