create realistic Polaroids from your photos Poladroid enables you to create realistic Polaroid-like versions of your digital images. The program renders your images with authentic Polaroid-like colors and vignetting effect, and it can even add optional smudges to the Polaroid paper to add a vintage flair. In order to convert an image, all you need to do is drag and drop a JPEG file onto the Poladroid interface and then, you actually have to wait for the photo to slowly develop right before your eyes - just like with a real-life Polaroid image. You can convert additional images while the others are developing. The converted images are displayed as thumbnails on your desktop and also saved as high resolution JPG files to a folder of your choice. Copyright Snapfiles.com

Just plain fun 4 stars by gimpguy Aug 09, 2011 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
I recall my first camera,Polaroid instant and this immediately made Poladroid a fav app of mine. Load the pic (drag and drop) and there you go. Very easy. I do wish the flash had the ability to be enabled, that would be cool. Another idea, to move the camera around your screen and take small photos of wallpaper, that would be fun. Or even while browsing web pages. Or if you grab the picture, wave it around your screen with the mouse, it would develop sooner. I think I'll email these ideas in and who knows? Either way, great fun. show Review details
Very unique software 5 stars by pcs800 Jan 16, 2011 (Read all my 222 reviews)
I have used other Polaroid simulation software, but this one has the coolest interface I have ran across in quite some time. It even makes you wait for a minute while the image "develops" in front of your eyes. The result is distinctly different from the source image, very nice job in recreating the Polaroid feel. show Review details
