Wow, what an experience... 2 stars by gimpguy Aug 04, 2011 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
...but not a good one. Took me two tries to install it, which did succeed. I opened the snail and tried to slither my way around the interface, opening an image, going through the basics of the toolbox and it was alright, more clutter throughout the interface than most I've seen, nearly got a headache trying to look through it. That wasn't the worst part though, it decided to access the internet, basic calls home, nothing intrusive, however, after I allowed it, the darn thing decided it wouldn't run for me any more, why, I have no idea. Go to load an image, firewall lights up, SPstart, or something on that order would crash. I immediately uninstalled this hog of a program and opened my other image manager and editor to sooth myself. This is a program with a lot (A LOT) to offer but I feel the programming took a back seat in this regard, more quantity, less quality. In all fairness, it's free I guess, well, at least after you register. This could be a great software (one of the best) but needs work. show Review details
Not a trial 4 stars by freeclick Jun 23, 2007 (Read all my 32 reviews)
My first impression when I opened the program was I had downloaded the wrong version. It indicates a thirty day trial without activation code which means you will only need to register, no problem. No great pros or cons that I can comment on. show Review details
Complete digital image suite 4 stars by mdecolle Feb 14, 2006
A complete solution for tuning, archiving and cataloguing your collection of digital images. Good interface, tends to slow down sometimes. Full control on metadata (exip/iptc/win). Has some sort of version control so you can rollback unwanted changes to your images. Good documentation and support from the developer ... and all this for a FREEWARE package. Absolutely recommended. show Review details
