I agree with the commentator who took this application to be perhaps too indiscriminate in its tidy-up. Thankfully I set a restore point. It quite thoroughly scrubbed my router details and somehow disabled the option in Control Panel to connect to a LAN. At least, there's something I must have missed in anticipating such complete scrubbing. It would be unfair to condemn it entirely, but I've still to benefit from whatever improvements it's meant to accomplish. show Review details

I appreciate that they created a AIO package. Normally these windows repairs are separate and have to be download individually. It covers the basic common malware type attacks vector fixes. It is easy to use and a step through interface design. I do hope the grow their fix-it list to keep up with all the new attacks that mess up users systems. Kudos!! My Windows XP Professional broke. At first, I couldn't even boot into Windows. My file system was corrupted, etc. I tried fixboot, fixmbr, bootcfg rebuild. I tried Bart PE pre-installed environment. Repair Install didn't work ChkDsk didn't work. SFC/scannow didn't work. Microsoft Fix It spit out an error message and couldn't run. I went round and round and round trying every trick in the book I know of. I finally managed to get Windows up and limping. I still couldn't download Windows Updates. I couldn't uninstall or install MSI files. There were other strange little problems. Nothing, individually or collectively got my system back up to snuff.
