play your songs and discover new ones Tomahawk is a unique music player that seamlessly merges your music library with shared music from online resources, friends and networked computers. The program looks and works much like a regular music player - it organizes you music, displays cover art etc., but in addition to your own music, Tomahawk lets you discover, search and play music from online sources as well as from your network of friends. Although these songs are not actually part of your local collection, they are seamlessly integrated and can be played like any of your other songs (however they cannot be saved to disk). Tomahawk supports a variety of plug-ins (called Resolvers), including Spotify, Soundcloud, Grooveshark and others. Copyright Snapfiles.com

Easy to use 4 stars by gimpguy Aug 07, 2012 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
This was easy to set up and use. It's just as easy to get your playlist going. A couple of small issues. Sometimes It took a while to connect to the internet, which I have 12 mb service and typically an awesome connection so not sure why it's taking so long. I tested without firewall, etc... same thing (at times) not always. Could be on other servers' ends. I also found it tough to find specific music using it's search, it was too broad of a find but I did manage. Those were just a minor hiccups though and the rest of the interface worked flawlessly. It's not something I think I would keep around though, mainly because most of what I want to hear, is already on my system, plus I have a couple of internet radio softwares that have much of what I listen to and new stuff all the time. I guess I find it the better solution. Still a nice software for those who like this sort of thing. show Review details
