You can input a simple word that is easy for you to remember, but would be too insecure if used as a password, and the program will convert it in a strong password made from numbers, letters and special characters. It does this by simply replacing some of characters. As long as you remember the simple password, you can always re-generate the secure version if you happen to forget it. The program can also generate passwords based on the web address associated with the login, which allows you to use a single password to generate a strong and unique password for each website (the web address is used as encryption key). A simple program that does what it says it will do. Dreaming up passwords that are somewhat convenient, but moderately "strong" is not an easy chore. This approach is the best I've seen. Using WinTinker with a password manager like KeePass is the approach I chose to manage many passwords.

There are plenty of freeware password generators, but this one uses the technique of misspelling words with symbols and numbers. For example hello123 becomes h3ll012e. The program can also generate traditional random passwords. Small download and no install, can be run from a pen drive.
