The one calendar planner that you want 5 stars by kchog1216 Dec 31, 2012 (Read all my 2 reviews)
I checked freeware for a calendar/planner program first and did not find anything that pleased me. I downloaded Calendarscope and determined it had everything I wanted and needed in a planner. You can set the default view to day, week, month, or my choice (year). Alerts are easy to add and change. You can define your own colors for each alert if you want. You can also define your own sounds for alerts or turn sound off completely. You can import different countries holidays from the website (also Christian and Jewish holiday files are available). I usually use freeware utilities but when I find an excellent tool like Calendarscope that's priced reasonable, I buy it. show Review details
Best calendar so far 5 stars by TwoEars Jan 22, 2007 (Read all my 26 reviews)
Tried many, found this one. I regret that one cannot link to a local file just like one can link to a web url. And manual and RTF or basic HTML note-taking would be a plus (currently text only). But a valuable asset anyway. show Review details
A good calendar program but needs a bit more 3 stars by DReeseJr Feb 15, 2006 (Read all my 8 reviews)
Although it is very colorful, MS Outlook has a few features that I feel CalendarScope (CS) could have: (1) CS could develop a detailed 'Today' page w/ colorful summaries of the tasks and calendar. (2) Further development of the DS Clock program to read more data from CS to list a summary of upcoming events and (3)I feel it needs a bit more than calendar function if it is going to sync with Palm-OS, like a Contacts or Notes section. show Review details
