Only easy accessible ftp with xcrc, but slow

I was searching for a ftp server which supports XCRC, so I was testing Quick n Easy FTP Server (light and professional). Using it on a Win 2008 VPS with 2GB RAM it tuned out however, that it takes this ftp server about 4 times longer than the Standard FTP Server comming with the Windows 2008 (IIS). I downloaded a 256MB Web Site with large media and it took about 20 minutes (XCRC was not used for the test. With the MS FTP server (IIS) it took 5 Minutes. Unfortunatley, the IIS does not support XCRC, but the speed difference is very high.

It's so simple and easy that even a grandmother can use it to share files. Definitely one should give it a try.

Though it may not provide "industrial strength anti hacking what ever its called", this little thing *Works!* Im using it in a local LAN to transfer files between Mac/PC. The computers are all locked up, I've got no admin rights - But this FTP server still runs happily! Problem solved! The whole process of setting it up took literally 30 second. that includes downloading, unpacking it to my USB key, creating a desktop shortcut and creating an account. oh dear. Im so happy now.. Wish i'd found this one before.
